The ‘secret man’ is the side of you that no one else really knows except you and God. This is the ‘real you’. You may be one way in your ‘public life’ and another way in your ‘private life’, but your ‘secret life’ is what defines you with the Lord. If your ‘secret life’ is what it should be, then your ‘public & private lives’ will fall into line. It does not happen the other way around. That is why you hear of individuals who have an impeccable ‘public & private life’, then all of a sudden the media finds out about the awful things the individual was doing in their ‘secret life’.
