Yes, they knew God, but they wouldn’t worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired.(Romans 1:21, 22, 24 NLT)
Because of free will, God will not impose Himself where He has been asked to leave. Our schools have pushed prayer and the bible out the door. Our government is on a crusade to wipe out our Christian heritage. Our society is not only pushing God out of our Christian holidays, but all aspects of life. Christmas is nothing more than ‘The Holiday Season’ where commercialism is king.
God is not a genie who stays in a magical lamp until the lamp is rubbed. No, He sits on His throne despite what we humans do and He rules the Universe. But He will not be mocked. If we shut God out, evil will flourish where God is not welcome. And that is exactly what we are seeing.
We can give God all the lip service we want, but until we begin to take action and put prayer and the bible back into schools, restore our Christian heritage, put Christ back into Christmas, put the resurrection back into Easter, and truly put ‘one nation under God’ back into the pledge of allegiance, the heinous acts will continue unchecked.
Even many religious people in this nation have joined the band wagon and begun to speak out against the Christian Holidays that were once very sacred to this nation. But the actual dates on our calendar year of Jesus’ birth, death, and resurrection are not what is important. Neither is the fact that Christmas and Easter seasons evolved out of being replacements for pagan holidays. What is the shame of this nation is that we no longer take time to celebrate when our Lord and Creator came to earth and died for our sins like we once used to. Christmas and Easter have become nothing more, to most people, than secular holiday seasons where the almighty dollar rules.
No, God is not to blame for not stopping the recent shootings in our schools. We are. We are the ones who have turned our backs on God. Only we as a nation can turn around and run back to the God whom the United States was founded upon. America is just like the prodigal in the parable (Luke 15:11-24). The good news is that all we need to do is run back to the Father, for He is waiting with open and loving arms!

It is here! Woe to the United States. The pulling away of my hand of protection has begun. The handwriting is on the wall. Open your eyes and look around you. Look at the heinous crimes as demonic activity increases. Feel as the earth erupts and shakes. Listen as economic woes are cried out. These are only the beginning.
“Why are you in awe?” says the LORD God of heaven and Earth. Wasn’t I with the United States from the very beginning? You were a peculiar nation designed to be a light to the world with the gospel. I was along side you when you struggled for independence, as you sought to abolish slavery, and as you struggled through world wars. But now you have turned your back on me. You are pushing Me out of every aspect of your existence. You have blotted out the word ‘sin’ from your vocabulary. Your greed, perversion, and bloodshed cry out as a testimony against you. Even though your money still states “In God We Trust”, it is but lip service to Me.
Just as it was in the days of Jeremiah, it will be now. No more will the days be allowed for pastors and prophets to keep the so called ‘negative talk’ from the sheep. They are commanded to sound the alarm! If not I will hold them responsible. Woe to them that continue to preach peace and prosperity! Woe to them that continue to say, “don’t worry, God is still with our nation”. Chaos will sweep across the nation and cities will be ablaze. Stability will be a thing of the past and life as you know it will never be the same. As everything begins to crumble all around, the only hope to be preached is a personal protection of one’s own soul through the blood of my son Jesus Christ. The paving of the way for the wrath of the Lamb is at hand. Pray for my dunamis power. Many will be called to be martyrs.
Fear not for I am on the throne and the Holy Spirit is still at work. My judgments are redemptive. Weep! Weep for the lost. Weep for your loved ones. Weep for your own soul. For I am the God of grace and mercy. You will witness many mighty miracles as the wheat is gathered. Gird yourselves up in preparation with prayer. Continually seek My face as I long to have communion with you.
