Christianity and the Bible permeated the formation and growth of this great nation known as the United States of America. It was openly practiced in our government, our military, and our schools. Now in the last days before the return of Jesus, many godless men and women in high places try their best to discredit this unmistakable truth. Look what the Bible says about them:
“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.” (II Timothy 3:1-5 NKJV)
So no matter how hard these despisers of good try, the evidence is overwhelming that the United States was a Christian nation founded by the Lord Himself. So much so, that the early leaders of this nation never felt it necessary to proclaim it officially as such because it was etched in their hearts so they never felt it necessary to etch it in law. They welcomed those of other faiths so that they could influence them with their Christian faith and principles. They never dreamt that this nation would be turned upside down with its godless ways denying it’s heritage.
But know in these last days, the Christian principles that permeated America are being snuffed out and erased, as history is rewritten by godless men to prepare for the rise of the Antichrist. Just know your history well so you can pass it on by word of mouth to your children and grandchildren.
I have included two videos with interviews of David Barton, who is probably the most knowledgeable Christian Historian of our nation. The first interview is with Dr Charles Stanley and the second is with Glenn Beck. The first interview centers around our heritage. The second interview centers around the fierce attacks against the truth:
Always keep in mind that men of sin hate the truth. Jesus was the truth and He was crucified for it:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.” (John 14:6 NKJV)
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32 NKJV)
Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” (John 18:37-38 NKJV)
