Christian Book Dangers

I have already written an article on how careful we must be when selecting a Christian book to read:

Christian Book Deception

I have also reviewed the following Christian books, most of which I have deep concerns over:

Book by Jake Colsen Errancy

Book ‘Heaven Is For Real’ Deception

Book ‘Heaven Is So Real’ Deception

Book ‘Love Wins’ False Teaching

Book ‘Pagan Christianity’ Review

Book ‘Under Cover’ Errancy

Today in the news I read the following article about the Christian book ‘The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven’:

I have now stepped it up a notch and warn of the dangers of many Christian books that are hitting the market because it is becoming more and more apparent that the bottom line for Christian publishers is the almighty dollar rather than the Lord Almighty.

It is good advice to heed the words that Alex Malarkey says after recanting his story, “When I made the claims that I did, I had never read the Bible. People have profited from lies, and continue to. They should read the Bible, which is enough. The Bible is the only source of truth. Anything written by man cannot be infallible.

The book’s publisher, Tyndale House, had promoted the book as “a supernatural encounter that will give you new insights on Heaven, angels, and hearing the voice of God.” This claim itself is in direct disobedience to the Word of God:

“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book.” (Revelation 22:18 KJV)

So please my friends, be very careful what you read and fill your minds with outside of the Bible. It is apparent that the bottom line for best selling books is money. Books are only pulled and recalled if the publisher and bookstores have their backs against the wall. They could care less about the truth and your spiritual welfare.

Do yourself a favor and get a copy of one of the greatest books published outside of the Bible, which is Halley’s Bible Handbook. With its help you will get to know the Bible itself more intimately. It is based upon fact rather than far fetched stories that rely upon sensationalism to become a best seller.

As a final note of biblical fact: Christians only go to Paradise now to await their glorified bodies and the final Heaven. Only Jesus has a glorified body at this time. The Bible is gracious enough to give us a glorious glimpse of what it will be like. And that is sufficient to place our faith in!
