When God spoke from Mount Sinai his voice shook the earth, but now he makes another promise: “Once again I will shake not only the earth but the heavens also.” This means that all of creation will be shaken and removed, so that only unshakable things will remain. Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a devouring fire. (Hebrews 12:26-29 NLT)
Here is a tested prophecy received 5/16/06 from a missionary to Kenya that you can hold on to:
Dire Days Ahead
All you have depended upon as stable will be shaken, all not based on Jesus Christ will crumble.
Money will become worthless. Great calamity coming upon America. Institutions thought strong & stable will fall.
Chaos in government. Supply dwindling as dollar goes into free fall. 401k’s disappear. Food supply disappears. God will have to supply or you will not have. 9/11 was the 1st major shot. This will be major & God will be your only refuge. It will no longer be as it has been.
World will be thrown into turmoil. Nations will fall from within We shall bury our dead in unmarked places, digging the grave with our own shovels.
Set your house in order.
A days wage will equal a day’s food; the 4 horsemen will ride. Those who live through the calamity will envy those who died in it.
Your selfish desire for prosperity underlies the calamity, but the murder of the innocent will bring the murder of the guilty.
Set your house in order.
Truly, days of adversity are ahead. As I write this article the top news networks all deal with the same 4 major topics. First, is the North Korea crisis. Second, is Hurricane Harvey that just passed. Third, is the approaching hurricane Irma which is the strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded. Fourth, is the disunity in America and the violent protests that are sweeping across this country. Not to mention the powerful earthquakes hitting Mexico, more deadly hurricanes forming over the oceans, and more horrific terrorist attacks. Christians and non-christians alike both know that something is coming down.
10/10/17 Update: Since I wrote this a month ago, there have been many more things to add to the list. First, hurricane Maria that devastated Puerto Rico. Second, the mass shooting in Las Vegas. Third, the wildfires that are devastating the wine country of California. Fourth, the evil stirrings of Iran/Persia (Dan 10:12-14 & Ezek 38:4-5,14-16). What’s next?
If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small. (Proverbs 24:10 NKJV)
Enjoy prosperity while you can, but when hard times strike, realize that both come from God. Remember that nothing is certain in this life. (Ecclesiastes 7:14 NLT)
“When the history is written on this generation, the failure of the men of God who stand at the pulpit will be the failure of preparing their people to suffer.” (Francis Schaeffer)
My question now to you is, “Are you ready for the days of adversity ahead and is your faith built upon the solid foundation of Jesus Christ?”
“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” (Matthew 7:24-25 NKJV)
