Back in the 1970’s, before GPS, I hiked the northern half of the Appalachian Trail. It was not marked very well in sections, so I purchased the trail guides to keep me on course, if needed. Every so often I would find I got off course and did not see the familiar white blaze marks. At that moment I needed to stop and get my bearings by taking out the trail guide for that section.
I believe we are at the same point in Christianity. Some of us have gone so far off course that we need to get out the trail guide, the Bible, and get our bearings, then get back on course preaching the Gospel. I have watched how three ministries over the past year that I once thought stable, have gotten off course. I watched the Salvation Army cave into the homosexual agenda. I watched how Ravi Zacharias led a secret life of sexual sin. Then last week I listened how Franklin Graham urged clergy to support Covid-19 vaccines because he claims Jesus would of used them too. He stated, “Iwould hope that the pastors in the pulpit would tell people how they can be saved from God’s judgment. I think for a pastor to tell someone not to take the vaccine is problematic because what would happen if that person got coronavirus and died?”
And what course does Christianity need to get back on? Jesus and Paul were clear:
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel (Good News) to every creature.” (Mark 16:15 NKJV)
Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand. For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, (1 Corinthians 15:1, 3-4 NKJV)
Gary Wilkerson just wrote this 3 days ago in a devotional:
“Never once do you see Peter, James and John get out of jail all beaten up and go back to the church, saying, “We’ve got to change the court systems. We’ve got to change this government.” They never talked about a political answer to a spiritual problem. They always saw that it was a spiritual answer to a political problem. The disciples stuck to preaching the gospel, loving people and putting all their hope in the Lord, their eternal king. So should we.”
If you examine all of the mega ministries, they are mostly either hyperfaith, dominionism, or prosperity preaching. They are led by men who have been made millionaires because people want to watch videos and TV, and soak up false teaching books that entertain, rather than spend time buried in the Word, praying, and being who God called them to be in the Kingdom by preaching the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, Church was never meant to be a mega building. It was meant to be a small group of local believers who are in close fellowship.
You may ask why I mention Franklin Graham and his very strong urging to take the shots? Because his statement is extremely reckless, especially resorting to condemnation of those with a different view, considering the so-called Covid-19 vaccines. They may be the hot topic of our time, but they are a political and scientific issue at heart. Because my body is a Temple of the Holy Spirit, I must look at the issue from a scientific perspective to see if it is healthy to take the shots, not because a ministry tries to lay a guilt trip on me. It is scientific fact that they are not vaccines, but are gene therapy. It is scientific fact that anyone who takes the shot has a greater chance of dying from it than from the Covid-19 itself. It is also scientific fact that the shots have not been proven safe.
Please fellow Christians, we must separate our spiritual duty of preaching the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ from what we are facing personally in our dying world.
I will not be ignorant of scientific facts. I have done hundreds of hours of research concerning the shots so I can know for sure whether or not they are safe for me to put into my body, which is God’s Temple. I will now state what I have learned in complete layman’s terms concerning the Covid-19 shots. There are leading scientists in the world that are for them. Then there are leading scientists in the world who are against them. Amazing how the government is labeling the latter group as disinformation and censoring their free speech. The scientists in the first group may be full of facts and what they say for the most part is true, but they leave out the full truth which then becomes misleading. They do not address the core issue I am concerned with. I am concerned with the outcome of the shots in the months and years to come. Both sides will tell you that what I am about to say is true.
Pretend that you buy something that needs to be assembled. You take out the instructions and assemble it. You throw the instructions away afterwards. The memory of how you put it together stays in your head. Someone you know buys a similar piece. You help them put it together from your memory. You find out as you go that a few of the pieces are not going together the same as the assembly you had. You break a few pieces because you forced them thinking they were the same, when in reality the manufacturer changed a few things since you bought yours.
These shots are instructions, or as Moderna calls them the “Software of Life”. Once they do their job, it is believed they are discarded. The memory though is not. This is where we enter the unknown. No scientist in the world is able to answer what will happen in the future when different variants are encountered. That is why the shots are NOT FDA APPROVED.
Simple reasoning: the annual flu shot allows your own body to produce the instructions to fight the flu, but in the case of the Covid-19 shots, for the first time ever, man is injecting manmade instructions without knowing the ramifications ahead. To me that is completely irresponsible.
The worst case scenario is that people who have taken the shots will have their own immune systems turn on them in the future when they encounter future viruses, resulting in many deaths as the governments explain them away as unknown causes of sepsis.
