For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. (Romans 1:18 NKJV)
The wrath of God that we are warned of because of the suppression of truth is about to be unleashed:
And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”(Revelation 6:15-17 NKJV)
Let no one deceive you by any means. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:3,7,9-12 NKJV)
A boxer, when he learns that the fight of his life has been set up by his manager for three months away, he begins immediately to train furiously. So it is with the world in preparation for the Antichrist and the Tribulation. Jesus forewarned us that when we see things unfolding quickly around us, that He is coming quickly:
He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20 NKJV)
“All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.” (Matthew 24:8 ESV)
“Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28 ESV)
Now back up and look around with your spiritual eyes and listen with your spiritual ears. The suppression of truth is at a boiling point. The following two PDF’s, which must be read together to see the point, are just one example of it:
And here is what they were trying to hush:
Why is suppression of the truth at a boiling point? Because the world is being prepared for absolute control and for it’s citizens taking the mark. Covid-19 restrictions, wearing the masks, scanning the foreheads/hands, the push for taking the shots for Covid-19, the movement towards a cashless society using cryptocurrency are all undeniably preparations and conditionings. The alignment of nations and the blossoming of prosperity for Israel are unfolding before our eyes. Truth no longer matters. It is now what the world wants people to believe. Freedom of speech has become a thing of the past. Good has become evil and evil has become good:
What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever. What sorrow for those who are heroes at drinking wine and boast about all the alcohol they can hold. They take bribes to let the wicked go free, and they punish the innocent. Therefore, just as fire licks up stubble and dry grass shrivels in the flame, so their roots will rot and their flowers wither. For they have rejected the law of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies; they have despised the word of the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 5:20-24 NLT)
You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. People will be cruel and hate what is good. They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that! (2 Timothy 3:1, 3b, 5 NLT)
As a matter of fact, truth will be suppressed so much so that
many who claim to be followers of Christ, will fall by the wayside just before the Rapture:
For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. (Matthew 24:24 NKJV)
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons. (1 Timothy 4:1 ESV)
Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (2 Peter 3:3-7 NKJV)
We see many falling all around us. We see it from this last election in America where so many of the mega preachers prophesied falsely that Trump most definitely would be President again. As if that was not enough, many claim and believe Trump will be reinstated by August 2021. American Christianity has sunken to new lows with people clinging to the false prophets of the prosperity gospel rather than clinging to the steadfastness of God’s written Word.
There are two camps in Christianity today. There are those who want their ears tickled with only the sweet things in life and then there are those who thirst only for truth, no matter how bitter it may be:
For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4 ESV)
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:31-32 NKJV)
Which camp are you?
I will close with Jesus’s summary and Paul’s advice:
“Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me.” (John 8:43-45 ESV)
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2 NLT)
How do you become transformed and learn God’s will for you?:
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 NKJV)
I like the advice Elizabeth George gives in one of her Devotions entitled The Flawless Word of God:
“How gullible are you. I’m not asking in a derogatory or put-down way. I tend to believe what I hear, read, and watch. If you’re like me, you realize there’s definitely a need to discern truth. And that ability comes from learning, growing, and understanding the Bible. You may want to get involved in a Bible study or take some classes to further your knowledge. Memorizing Scripture is crucial to being able to separate fact from fiction. The American Banking Association once sponsored a training program to help tellers detect counterfeit bills. Not once during the training were the tellers exposed to actual counterfeits. For two weeks they handled nothing but the real thing. They became so familiar with the ‘true’ that they couldn’t be fooled by the false. And that’s exactly what I’m encouraging you to do!”
