Emphasis in the Word

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 NKJV)

Not only Timothy, but every single Christian is commanded thru Paul to rightly divide and interpret the Word of God, the Bible. What I want to do is look at certain instances where special emphasis is placed in the Word of God. This emphasis is where the LORD is telling us it is of extreme importance and we are to stand up straight and pay special attention, just like He did in the first book of the Bible with Pharoah:

And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. (Genesis 41:32 NKJV)

I would like to point out a few of these instances in the following points and may you be blessed by it:

1. Jesus emphasizes that we must be Born Again:

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that We do know, and testify that We have seen; and ye receive not Our witness. (John 3:3‭, ‬5‭, ‬7‭, ‬11 KJV)

2. The Bible emphasizes God is Holy above all His other attributes:

And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (Revelation 4:8 KJV)

3. The Tribulation period will be the most horrible time on earth, bar none:

And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound! (Revelation 8:13 KJV)

4. The Church is mentioned 19 times in the first 3 chapters of the book of Revelation where it describes the Church ages up to the present. But the Church is not mentioned even once from chapters 4 to 19 where the Tribulation period of the future is revealed to John. The proof of the absolute teaching of the PreTribulation Rapture of the Church is solidified in Revelation 4:1 where it states:

After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”

It is in direct correlation to 1 Thessalonians 4:16‭-‬18 where it states:

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

As a special note: Please do not be deceived by those who do not teach a PreTribulation Rapture. Do not confuse the trumpet of God that signals the Rapture with the trumpet of angels that announce the seven trumpet judgements during the Tribulation (Revelation 8:6).
